Live. Breathe. Grow. is working on a special project this October. This year for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are proud to introduce LBG’s Pink Warrior Project. The Pink Warrior Project is Live. Breathe. Grow.’s commitment to raising awareness by giving back and the honoring women’s stories of strength. We hope this will inspire the members of our LBG community to do the same.
First, we’re going pink. We’ve taken our Warrior Woman design and painted her pink; in honor of all the women warriors affected by breast cancer. Our updated Warrior will be a long sleeve black V-neck with the original Warrior woman donning brilliant pink. The back will be adorned with a breast cancer ribbon intertwined with our Warrior Woman Mantra; I am Strong. I am Powerful. I am Fearless. I am a Warrior.
Second, were giving back. Each Pink Warrior shirt will sell for $40 with $5 of every purchase being donated to YogaBear, a national non-profit connecting cancer patients and survivors with free yoga classes and a support community. In addition, for every tee sold LBG will donate a Pink Warrior tee to a woman currently undergoing treatment at a hospital/treatment center. When you buy a shirt you are making a difference in the life of a woman right now!
This idea was born from the many emails, thank you cards and notes that we have
received over the past year from family, friends and customers who attest to the power and strength the Warrior Tee has brought to their lives. She stands as a symbol of hope and courage.
Finally, we’re spreading the word. During the month of October we will be turning over our blog to you, our community. We welcome you to share your story, or the story of a female loved one who has been affected by breast cancer. Help us to weave a tapestry of hope with your words. You can submit your story and the name and picture (optional) of the woman you are dedicating your story to, via email: firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be featured on our blog.
